1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ShopsMCP (the “Plugin”) or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Plugin or services.
2. Use of Service
ShopsMCP is a WordPress plugin that embeds an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server into your WooCommerce store, enabling AI assistants to interact with your store data. You may use the Plugin only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for securing your API key and ensuring that any AI clients you connect have appropriate access.
3. Pro Subscription
Certain features are available only under a paid Pro subscription. Pro features are described on the pricing page and may change over time. Access to Pro features is tied to an active subscription; features are revoked upon cancellation or non-payment.
4. Payments & Billing
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the selected billing interval (monthly or annually). Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change with reasonable notice. You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
5. Intellectual Property
The free Plugin is released under the GPL-2.0+ license. The ShopsMCP name, logo, and website content are the property of ShopsMCP and may not be used without written permission. Pro features and associated cloud services are proprietary and not covered by the GPL license.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Plugin and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShopsMCP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Plugin or services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
