When you use ShopsMCP or purchase a Pro subscription, we may collect the following information:

• Name and email address (for account creation and support)
• Payment information (processed and stored securely by our payment processor)
• WordPress site URL (to associate license keys with installations)
• Usage data (feature usage, plugin version, error logs) for improving the service

The Plugin itself runs entirely on your server. Store data (products, orders, customers) is never transmitted to ShopsMCP servers — it is only accessible to AI clients you explicitly authorize via your API key.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send transactional emails (receipts, license keys, support responses)
• To improve the Plugin and detect abuse
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to operate ShopsMCP, including payment processors (such as Stripe or Lemon Squeezy) for billing. These services have their own privacy policies and handle payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

4. Cookies

The ShopsMCP website uses essential cookies required for navigation and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Analytics, if any, are privacy-respecting and do not share data with ad networks.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us; we will fulfill such requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
